Anyone use their camaro as a daily driver?

If so, hows it holding up?

like a dream apart from the four screws that came loose because of a design flaw, other then that, i love driving her. Shes been through all kinds of storms, and everything, and shes always been great. Only problems are the stone chips and the worrying when leaving it at a parking lot.
Shes never driven in the winter though and she never will
Is there a particular reason as to why you asked?
Its honeslty been a completely practical car for me and is honestly a great DD

Ive driven mine in the rain, snow, and Texas heat. I bought mine to drive not to be a garage queen. Its held up quite well on these Texas roads.

Mine, is a daily driver, The only issue I have is the PZero tires. In my opinion this is more of an issue for climates like VA, where it can be in the 20-30 in the morning and 50-60 by the afternoon. If I had more time to adjust to the handling of the cold tires, they might be OK. During the winter I had check the outside temperature and then adjust my driving, no quick starts or hard turns.

I just rolled 10,000 miles yesterday and only had one problem with a leaking shock, but that was about 8000 miles ago. I have no complaints at all!

Two and a half weeks of it being my DD and have 3200km on it already.

Also used it a few times for car pooling with two of my buddys, they alternate who has to squeeze in the back - so far no problems.

I drive mine 10 miles a day round trip to work. Garage kept every night and I have "my" own special parking spot at work. I also detail it every week.

The Camaro, the Corvette and every other GM car is designed as a daily driver. I know people that daily drive their new ZR1 Corvettes, even in rain and occasionally in the snow. There is nothing exotic about the car to keep you from driving it daily. They will hold up just as well as a Malibu or pickup truck because they are designed by the same company and utilize many of the same components as other more mundane GM cars.

Hi, I live in San Diego, California. Should I be worried about driving my car in the winter time? I have seen temps reach a very low 50 degrees (I always have to dig out my sweatshirt). How will the tires react? Should I adjust my driving style when the temp drops this low? Would snow tires be a good investment? I can't find anyone who sells tire chains within a 200 mile radius.

If I was you, I'd forget the tire chains. Just strap some snowboards to the bottom of the front tires and you should be good.
