Does R6P Show up on Window Sticker? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

My car was an R6P that the original buyer did not take delivery on.

The window sticker that I have doesn't note any "early preorder activity", but the one I pulled down off the GM site does...

It shows per the following:

"Early Order Activity Ending 3/15/09"...

It also comes up on the Spastic Squirrel search with the R6P box checked.

Does the printed window sticker not give any indication of R6P, or am I just missinig it, or is my version a reprint perhaps? It was stuck to the window at the dealer I picked it up at tho.

If so, can someone scan it and show me where and what is stated on the sheet?

Also, does it show up on the options codes list sticker in the trunk? Haven't looked.

Just a curiosity.

Sorry I'm don't know the answer but what is an R6P? I've seen it several places but not an explanation.

I don't know about the window sticker..but I know it should be on the option codes in the trunk

RP6 is the code given to those who participated in the early order

It wasn't on my window sticker either................and I never got the original sticker, just a reprint from GM. I was a little pissed considering I'm keeping every piece of documentation on this car. Mine is #296 built on the 3rd day of production, so I know it should have been on there. Just another in a long line of fails on processing and documentation by GM.

Yep, it's definitely on the order code label in the trunk in alpha/numeric sequence...

Not on my window sticker tho, at least as far as I can tell.

It's interesting that it (the printed window sticker) shows the selling dealer as Bozarth (Topeka) on my printed copy, but the GM Buypower window sticker was updated to McCarthy (Olathe), apparently from when the dealer trade happened in early July.

Found an example window sticker entry with a search...mine does not show this "EARLY ORDER ACTIVITY" on the printed sticker, and it sounds like I am not alone...neither on original nor reprints...

Weird.

Just pull up the trunk floor and you can see all the codes in a square on the left side. If RP6 is there than you're good to go. My car is a RP6 yet there was no notification of this on my window sticker.
