Will the SS have 20" run flat tires? Can we go bigger in size?

I understand we don't have a spare tire with the Camaro SS, will the furnished tire be the run flat type.

Can we use a wider tire in 20" size?

No, there will not be run-flat tires on the SS.

We'll get a can of fix-a-flat with the car.
Think of the weight savings... no spare

Here are some good run-flats

I know the Camaro SS doesn't come with a spare, so it doesn't make sense to me that GM would give us non-runflat tires.

sure a can of tire filler will work for small holes, but what if you have a bigger hole?

Last I checked, not for the 2SS. I think they should be run flats too.

i sit? whew that's good. i really don't see it very appealing to have tire trouble and have no spare. seems like so much hassle.

Here's a question, even if you get the spare tire (lets say on the non-SS, but even think about this in terms of an SS) would the trunk allow you to put the flat tire into it? The width on the trunk opening looks narrow. If you had a large rim would it even fit into the trunk? Meaning is a spare tire going to do you any good if you have to abandon the rim or put the rim in the back seat?

I could be wrong its just something I was wondering about. Maybe a 21" rim will fit in the trunk after you strip the tire off of it, but if thats the case hopefully you'll have the tools to do that when you get the flat.
