Jet Mass ait flow sensor

I have a L99 and i only have two mods as of right now. K&n intake system and stright pipe. Someone mention to me to get a Jet mass air flow sensor. they said it would open up my car and i would be able to notice i have a intake system.
I am saving for headers and exhaust as well I was just wondering if any of your guys have does this.?

Very bad advise my friend. Jet crap can actually harm your engine just do a google search and you'll see. Just tune your car and you'll get better results. Please stay away from that stuff.

GM doesn't make any "special ones", but they do use different MAF sensors throughout their lineup.

The GM MAF sensor on the Camaro SS is the same part number MAF used on the ZL1 and on the ZR1.

If you search this section, you'll find several threads on Jet Maf's. None of them will recommend getting one. Basically, they are GM Maf's that supposedly been recalibrated to read higher htz. The problem is, no one needs it to read higher htz. Once you start moving enough air to outflow the OEM MAF, you move to speed density.

There is a "weak" and "strong" MAF from the factory. Do a search on here, it will give you the info to tell if you are affected by the "weak" sensor. Then get one and get a tune. I have heard that the weak ones affect tuned cars just as much as stock cars.
