Not that it matters, because it shouldn't have happened at all, but what hit you? It left very unusual markings on your bumper.

Well, at least it's 100% not your fault because you got hit from the back, so you'll be out your Camaro for the shop time, then good as new.

I have been there, too. Felt sick to my stomach. Remember to ask for diminished value from the other guy's insurance. Ask your insurance company about it; they should give you all the details. Good luck. (Mine should be out of the shop this week...fingers crossed.)

That sucks! And I've heard similar stories way too often lately.

Regarding the 2 times you got hit... was it distracted drivers each time? texting? phone?

Cant agree with you more, and as for OP, it happens, I'm glad you weren't hurt and the bumper will be replaced

People are in too much of a hurry and don't pay attention. They follow too closely to be able to make a safe stop. I am sick of people cutting in front of me just because i leave more than a couple car lengts between me and the car in front of me. I had one do that yesterday, I had about 3 car lengths between me and the car in front when this yahoo comes flying past cuts over and then slams on his brake to make a right hand turn causing me to have to slam on My brakes. The really stupid part is there wasn't a single car behind me so he didn't need to cut me off.
Making drivers tests harder won't fix this. Most people that drive today drive any way they want to no matter what the rules of the road are or even what the law says. You can see it even in many of the members here, bragging about driving 20 or more over the speed limit and cry when they get caught. They think they are above the law by putting illegal equipment on their cars just because it "Looks Good" to them. Come on people if you are going to complain about other people's driving you better be looking at how you drive also. I almost bet most of those complaining of idiot drivers do many idiotic things in their cars also. Only thing is they think they are better drivers than everyone else.
