I have no doubts that a RX can works as intended. Tracey has been great to me in terms of customer service. I just didn't like the way it was designed. You've got a confusing open/close valve where people are still thinking their cans are closed when they're actually open. You've got a clear tube hanging down in your engine bay that has a brown color after the first drain. You've got instructions that are hard to understand (same goes for the breathers). Depending on the installation, the suggested mounting location is not that secure or it's a pain to reach the drain valve. Combine that with recent quality issues, epic backorder, and backlash from the vendor for posting a honest review...

I think I found the LS3 one, but please do post the part #. Was it a straight forward install, do it yourself kind of thing?

Yeah, makes me worry since they dont specify our cars at Elite. I asked the other person to post the part number, I think I will order the one for the LS3 like he did.

That's which one I bought, nice can, clear instructions with photo's, but I had to heavily modify the bracket in order for it to fit. Works great and I have no other complaints or gripes about it.

If you are interested in the mods I did for the bracket see my earlier posts and follow the links to a youtube vid I had made.

I will be waiting for for you to post after your install. I also have never installed one, and one person here says he had to modify the mounting bracket and has a youtube vid. Sounds like a can is a can even though you empty them in different ways, but the mounting brackets is where custome to ZL1 or SS or whatever come into play. Good luck please do post here.

I imagine that the success and volume is making it tough for the operation they have. Give them a chance to make it right.

You new kids on the block slay me. You didn't contact them about the quality issues but have the time to run here to make a thread? C5 isn't what it used to be.

Ordered my RX catch can April 20. I still have not received it. Thinking about elite now, very interested in what it takes to install one (if I need to modify a bracket).

if you drain it when you change the oil it is very easy to drain.

I just want to say to all the flamers out there that no matter what product you buy or who you buy it from there are always quality control slip throughs, shipping delays and other unforeseen things. its very sad to see some of our locals jumping on the bandwagons trashing vendors they have never dealt with or used their products. as I said before a quick call to tracey and im sure he will get you all fixed up.
