Thanks; great information on what differentiates the two products!

And thanks, all, for the kind words and compliments. To each his own, of course, but I really love the silver on this car...

Car looks great!
What an amazing looking car. Very nice. Not usually a fan of silver, but that just pops. Love it.

I forgot to tell you; the cQuartz is so slick there was NOTHING on the front of the car after driving the 90 minutes home. No bug marks, nothing. I've never seen this happen before, as the route I take is along backroads and wetlands. Bizarre...

That's CQuartz Finest for ya! Pick up some CarPro Reload and you can make it even slicker!

Damn that Z28 is fast! It took you 90 mins to get from your detailers place in Brentwood Cali to Austin Texas?! Wow hahaha

Yes -- except I drove it from Austin to Sears Point first, before having it detailed. Didn't want it to be too clean -- had to give the detailer something to do -- and needed to break the car in for track work.

Wonder if Chevy would honor the warranty had I broken it in at Concorde speed...

I hate badging on cars as well, and the Z/28 is the only car I've had where any of the badges have survived this long. Lost the rear bow tie, but conflicted about removing the iconic Z/28 emblems. My attitude has always been that anyone who knows cars knows what the car is without badges -- but I've still been slow to remove the Zed...

I would take off the front and rear emblems but leave the ones on the sides.

The only badge i would keep is the flowtie on the front. And only because GM thought to hollow it out for performance reasons

And I agree - if you have to ask - i know not to waste my time talking about it

I had my Ram for about a month (only because the wife said not to "touch" it just yet) before the Big chrome badges came off. Only the front and tailgate remain because they need to be filled and i dont like doing body work

Im still torn. Hoping I can pick up an Ashen Gray Z for under MSRP as 75k is a bit out of reach for me. Or get back into a Z06 and leave the wife at home. Decisions decisions

My thoughts exactly, though I'll keep the FlowTie...
