I actually got pulled over in GA this weekend for my exhaust noise. ON THE INTERSTATE.

There was an accident and as they were weeding us down to passing the scene in the far right lane he was sitting right there with his window open. Once I got through I gassed on it and my exhaust was right in his window as he sat in the drivers seat.

Well, pissed him off. He told me he's not going to write me up but he used to be a Trooper in Bama and he knows my car is not legal and I should be advised that even though they don't do testing in Bama that it's still illegal.

He let me go telling me to be a little more courteous. I didn't argue. But I truly didn't realize my exhaust noise was hitting him in the side of the head.

So now that I have cut-outs I'm scared to use them.

So I ask him specifically about if Ga had a noise law and he asked why........So when I started to leave I opened up the cutouts, rev'd the motor and told him this is why I ask.

He told me that Georgia had no noise law on exhaust but that it did have a noise law on stereo's???????

Maybe they guy was just being a jerk.

I have not had any problems here in Alabama or in Georgia since I got my cut outs ................but then again you are a product tester and if it is going to happen it will happen to you.......
PQ is the guinea pig, isn't he? And do you ever use your cut outs?

Probably will ask for a few tip's on taking out the drivers seat. Need to do that soon to get the micro swith installed on the clutch pedal.

3 hours...not bad! This might be something on my list down the road. I'm waiting for my MPD-1 rear spoiler and mine will be Pedderized soon!

Merc, I can go out to the car right now and if you timed me I could have it out in under a minute. I was amazed at how easy it was once you realize how the front rails are seated in the car.

Litterally undo the two torx nuts in back and lift a little on the rear of the seat, slide the whole seat rails and all back about an inch and the front comes out. Pull the connector lock from the wire harness and it's out.

I'll do a quick video and time myself tonight to show you.

Dude. This system is worth every penny. You can put the car back to stock EASY too if you ever wanted to. It comes with the clamps to do so. And when I say it took me 3 hours I'm talking vacuuming the car when I took the seat out, jacking the car up on stand front and rear, jacking the car down and everything. I could do it in 2 hours now having done it once.

I never held up though. I work diligently till it was done.

That's what I said. Don't get me wrong, it took about 5 minutes because I couldn't figure out how to get the front to come lose. Till I realized you slide the whole thing back and the front is in a slot that you set it in and push forward to 'seat'.

But, ya. That's it.
