Wash? You can't wax over dust.

It takes as long as it takes. It'll always take longer your first time. Four hours for the hood is pretty excessive though.

Quick question guys since you guys seem to be detailers. New here kinda. Long time stalker. 14' L99 SS/RS. I don't know one thing about detailing. I bought the meguiars ultimiate wash and wax. And meguiars smooth surface clay kit as well as the ultimate liquid wax. I work 60/week so since auto zone is right next door I just grab and go. SOO question. Do I HAVE to polish? Or can I just wash clay wax. I heard you didn't really have to since its new. I never clayed. Never waxed/or polished EVER. Lol
