OP, I chose a centri because I have gears and wanted a more linear torque curve than with the PD blower. I chose my cam with drivability without giving up any low end, as well as possible FI compatibility in the future. The future is now... I have a hard time thinking that going a centri over a PD will disappoint on these cars, both make ridiculous power. As has been said by TornadoSS and others, in the right gear boost will be there. Good luck!!! |

Out of curiosity... What gears are you guys running. I'm talking about a good street gear that would work well with the paxton centri. I'm not even sure what gear comes stock in my ls3.

Stock gear is 3.45 on the LS3. The centri style blower works well with a nice gear because it acts like an NA car down low anyways. I run a 4.11 in mine. Hopefully others will comment their setup also.

Some say just drop the GM 3.91's on the stock diff. Ted at JRE told me that this set up (Eaton Posi) would be a more durable.
