I only wish I had a garage as nice setup for working on a car like yours. I just have a plain jane garage... But so far it has gotten the job done...

Just about to tackle the dreaded Sub-frame bushings......

Haven't been to JB in Calgary yet. I've been to the one in Edmonton when I used to live close.

Another option!!

I was looking for bushings and was told to check Mopac, sure enough they had them....along with other goodies!!

Sub-Frame bushings are in, also got both headers in. Man those were a pain!!

Front end is ready to go back in and also finish the exhaust.

Meanwhile outside this one thinks it's getting neglected!!

John, where you been hiding? Okotoks or something? LOL LOL

And here I thought EVERYONE knew about MOPAC! Be careful in there. They are magicians. Seem to make your money just disappear!

Are you going to keep the V-6 in it or put a V8 in her? Seeing you are thinking about engine swap, wonder what it would take to put a LS3 in there. That would be a bad ass car.

It has a V8 in it by looking at the pics, but since its a Berlinetta it should onyl be a 305. The 305 from 78-81 only makes like 140hp lol. The 350 only made 180 in these cars.

BTW i have a 1981 Camaro Z28 that I restored/built for my Father. It's a great car and looks like i will be turning it into my new track car starting this season.

It's a 305. These had 155 hp in '80, (if it was in a Z it would be the 165hp version). The 350 had a blistering 190 hp!

I'm going to keep this car as original as possible, or at least try to !

Come on out! Be prepared to put a wrench in you're hand though! LOL!

I have to admit it Tom, the lift is the best tool I own. Makes doing jobs like headers, bushings, suspension.....sooooooo much easier!

I think I'll either put a crate engine in, or rebuild kit at the least. I don't think I need anything at the moment Layla, but Thanks for the offer.

I'll let you know if something comes up and I need anything.
