Is it AFM?

Hello. Sorry about wrong topic title. I ment Torque Management, not Fuel management.

There is a problem. If its a problem

I have ss ls3. When trying to do fast 0-60 run, seems there is a huge lag on 1st gear.

The order im doing: 1st gear, pushing clutch and getting to about 1.5-2k rpm, then releasing the clutch pedal. A little wheel spin and car jumping to 30mph, then engine just stops rev higher for time like 0.5-1 sec , then its going higher and i switch to 2nd gear at 5-5.5k rpm and 45mph. Is it torque management here cos of too agressive shift?? Is it so agressive on manual? Or there is a trouble with smth? TC on , launch control not using.

Thanks.

An LS3 doesn't have AFM. Only L99 with the automatic have AFM.

You read wrong. The LS3 doesn't have AFM.

To answer your question, I would say it might be the driver.

Yeah i was wrong, sorry, but is there a system like Torque management? Can it be a problem? LS3 engine torque is limited below 3000 RPM, maybe i have a lag cos of it?

About driver mod - well, what am i doing wrong then? I had 4 manual cars before and never had such problem?

Did you turn off the traction control? Turn it off and try again.

I just tryed with TC off, with stalbiltrac off and in competition mode, when u push TC button twice. Nothing changed. Seems when im launching from 0rpm, car jumps to like 2.5k rpm, then even DROp it to 1.5r rpm, and only after that its pushing...:(

sounds like you are slipping the clutch and not letting it out all the way

Okey, had a time and tried everything i could. launch from 0 rpm, car launches, then lag like 0.5s and rpm dropping from 2.5k to 1.5k, then it pulls. Tried launch from 2k rpm - same. Tried to drop clutch pedal fast - same. Tried to drop clutch slowly - same. It cant be me. Tried every variation...

As the last step - tried launch control... Got it to competition mode. Fully pressed clutch. Got it to 1st gear. Pushed gas pedal. Somewhere on 5k released the clutch. Car launched, BUT clutch pedal left on its place! Fully pressed. WTF? Even burning clutch smell was around. Anything wrong here?

u are going to have some drop because you are mating the engine with the transmission so naturally its going to drop and then the rpms climb.....take it to the dealer and see if something is wrong with your peddle

thats what I assumed,
but you said "launch from 0 rpm".

which if read literally, you are either trying to launch the car with it turned off, or starting the car and immediately releasing the clutch.

just trying to clear things up.
