I made the dealer take out the panty drop feature from my 1LE (lol).. its amazing the looks I get from the guys though!!

i am not into manual trannys nor do i track, but there is no doubt that the 1LE is a great lookin car. saw one at walmart couple weeks ago, and it sure was a nice lookin car. so, congrats to you guys who own them. ! very nice!

If you have a SS/RS then just swap rims & paint your tail black & you got a 1LE replica. Let's not all act like its a totally diff looking car lol

I saw a 2014 1LE in person on a dealer's lot. It's the rims that make it look so aggressive. Definitely looks meaner in person than from pics. But for what it's worth, my 1lt/rs gets a lot of attention. Some supposed car guy from the old school at the local gas station thought my car was a V8 all these years. He thought RS = big motor. Most people have no idea the trim levels. I also had a young kid shake his dads leg and point at my car which I thought was odd since it isn't yellow like the Transformers car.

Also, my Lightning being ten years old still garners attention. Neighbors still like my SVT truck better than the car and "think" it's worth more or will be worth more (although the Bluebook disagrees). My Sonic Blue Lightning that I totaled probably got the most attention out of any vehicle I ever had. But a 1LE with those rims and stance I think looked meaner than the ZL1 parked next to it although the ZL1 was a vert and I just don't think verts look mean.
