I've seen the SS times which are amazing, I'm curious what are the V6 0-60 and quarter mile times?

I would guess the new V6 is close to the 5th Gen SS?

That's pretty telling and shows you how much Ford left off the table/has left to do to now catch up. I truly think Ford didn't reveal their hand and will have some big changes on the '17 MY (Next fall).

to Chevy for not only promising but over delievering.

I just wish they made a 2LT with everything on it but with a V8 engine. I don't need or want any of the 'performance' stuff on the SS but I DO want a V8.

I wouldn't say its close, but it is a big jump forward for the V6. GM rates the V6 auto at 5.1 seconds 0-60 and 13.5 in the 1/4 mile. Motortrend tested their V6 auto and got 5.3 and 13.8 at nearly 103MPH, so based on that MPH I feel it can do a tad better in the ET.

I think the V6 with bolt ons and tune which should put it at 350+ HP could give a stock 5th gen L99 SS fits for sure, but with the edge going to the 5th gen SS of course.

So if I understand Apple CarPlay right, it will emulate your iPhone display and functions on the car's infotainment display? That is awesome!

Don't forget, GM is utilizing a much more advanced chassis than Ford. Moving Camaro to Alpha is like hearing Dark Side of the Moon on a 1 speaker 8 track then hearing it on 5.1 SACD surround through tube amps and Bowers and Wilkins speakers.

I am liking (WANTING) the new Camaro more and more, the more reviews I see of it,its just gonna be VERY hard for me to swallow the diff.in price I paid for my 10' and the price of the new, when I have built one on the site, its like $10,000 more than my 10'..i work for a Chevy /Cad. dealer and will get a good price, but still I would be looking at like $5-7g's more,

What makes you think the Alpha is a more advanced chassis than the S550? Any actual data regarding the structure to back that up? I asked this question before and the answers were always unrelated to the chassis itself.
