Doug Thorley Headers installed with MRT 1.0 (pics and video) - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Just picked up my car with my Doug Thorley shorties installed. I already had MRT v1.0. My initial reaction is beyond anything I even expected. This may be the most exciting mod I have done to my car. The exhaust note is absolutely insane. The powerful and throaty sound it has is simply mind boggling. The power increase is definitely noticeable as well. The low end torque feels like it has really improved. I am 100% pleased and happy with these headers. Here's some pics and some videos:

Thanks man. I got these on the initial group buy from user Bad Karma. PM him for his current price. I think they are supposed to be available in a few weeks. Nice color choise btw

No CEL yet. fingers crossed! Only about 30 miles on the headers so far. I am not tuned yet. I am getting my Injen intake this week I hope and then a Trifecta tranny tune.

After I get my intake and tune I plan on getting it on a dyno.

ahh, next time wave him down and let him hear it. most likely he will enjoy it and let you rev it as loud as you want. every cop at my dept would.

Sounds really great. I'm glad you're as pleased with them as I am.

Look forward to your report on how this combines with the Injen. That is probably my next move unless Vararam gets its act together soon.

Nice man. I ordered a set of DTH shorties right after the first batch came out. They should be here in a few weeks along with my Corsa cat-back. I think that set-up is gonna sound mean. How long did your install take?
