I'm gonna try and make it. I'm expecting another baby and it's cutting it close to the due date.

As far as i've been told all pre-registered under the club group camaro5
will all be able to park together. That's what pre-registration is for so they know who's coming.

I've always pre-registered......... but starting in 2011 Camaro's pre-registered directly through Carlisle and not the American Camaro Association/Maryland Camaro Club. Last year, Carlisle let people park outside their class just so they could park with their friends. I thought I knew what pre-registration meant not sure Carlisle knows what it means?

Oh well.............. sounds like so far it will be a better "Camaro" turnout this year!!

yeah we use to do that at the truck shows too. they put you somewhere and then later you move by your friends lol.

I emailed Tyler who's in charge of the event and told him I have a ton of camaros coming out and that he needs to get this organized because all my guys are parking together.

Tyler must be new, I've been going to the GM Nationals for years and Rick Marco was always the guy in charge.
I'm not saying your wrong, but this is what I've learned from past events.
On Friday and Sunday you can pretty much park wherever you want, but on Saturday, the day of the show, you are supposed to park in the designated class that you registered under so you can be judged. Sounds simple but Carlisle messes that up by putting up tents in the class areas and by allowing clubs to park their cars together. This turned into a big mess last year. club members were trying to park near their tents and together although there was class sections marked with signs in the same area. I even saw people leave. BTW, if you have 25(I think) or more members in your club pre-registered you get a free tent.
I would suggest, just for the morning of the show, that you guys park in the proper class sections to make things easier for everyone.
You can still hang out in your club tent with your friends.
I'm a member of camaro5.com forum, of course, but not a member of South Jersey or Central Jersey Camaro clubs.
I'm too busy for another club, but I will always find time to go to Carlisle.
I hope I don't come off sounding like a jerk know-it-all, but I have seen how Carlisle handles things and it doesn't always turn out great.
I still love the show and hanging out with friends.
Maybe I'm just getting too old for the Camaro mayhem.

Well this is true for people who are participating in a judged event. Your right they do need better organizing.
For me I don't care about awards or trophies I just want to hang out with everyone and have a fun time checking out everyones mods.

Tyler is the guy I was told to contact

From what I understand there is no judged class anymore. It's all participant choice. Rick don't work there anymore..
