Only time you should be below 4500rpm the whole time down the 1/4 mile is revving it up from idle to launch RPM before the light turns green.
That is true, no granny shifting. Then the trick is to keep the revs at 4,500 while feathering he clutch.

It's a bit of a catch 22. Smaller turbos will make the car faster if he doesn't want to do the things to take advantage of the bigger turbos. (Launch harder and run more boost)
A race gas tune and 2-step would turn that into a completely different car.

After another fruitless night of launching at Atco, not even getting into the 11s, I will give the good old Camaro Launch Control a try. Who knows? It might be just the thing with my set up.

Agreed!!!! I can't wait to see what the new top performance camaro has or if ford comes out with a GT500. Any of the 3 would be great, I wish dodge would make their performance cars a little easier to mod tho.

The Kitty is an amazing machine and it has plenty of power. On the street it is still as bad a$$ as anyone could ask for but it is somewhat limited in its stock configuration for traction. Not knocking it at all its a amazing vehicle and hope to add one to my toy list but I'm of the opinion that a N/A SS with cam, bolt ons, drag raidals will make the kitty earn its top dog spot all day long.

It's all about the driver. I have seen a few of them now including a Charger. That is the coolest Hellcat to me.

The fastest was a stock one with DRs running 10.7-8. Others were low elevens to low 12s (manual of course).

I think a stock one with tires will record a 10.5 in good air.

There are very few NA SSes that can run those faster numbers. These are full weight (4,500 pound) stock cars. Very impressive.

I wonder how fast a LT4 CA6 will run. It will take a while to find out.

Have to agree with you. The charger is better looking imo as well. Friend of ours just got his like 3 weeks ago ( black pearl coat, not sure the name of the color) car is amazing fast. Looking under the hood is pretty cool, that engine bay is one full puppy hard to even see a plug wire let alone a spark plug. Pretty impressive machine and the electronics are way cool records 1/8 or 1/4 mile 0-60 plus a lot more things I don't remember. Sounds great for stock exhaust too.
