I personally would not believe a thing that Bob Lutz has to say. He is the same one that said that they would be bringing back the G8 in form of the Caprice.

I doubt it. I wouldn't trust a thing Lutz says. The guy opens his mouth before he thinks.

I am realy looking forward to that. Imagine all the business GM could get back from the police depatments/public services if they would offer a updated RWD platform to replace the ancient crown vic and undersized Impala. Not to mention all the aftermarket that it would share with the Camaro.

This article is old but the car is coming.
"this rear-wheel-drive sport sedan will find one way or another to stay on sale in the U.S. Unfortunately, its customers won't be the general public since General Motors, after a few crossed wires, has decided not to let the G8 live on as the Chevrolet Caprice. No, the G8's new audience will be the po-po, as in law enforcement."

Like I said, the car will not be making a comeback. Lutz opens his mouth before thinking. He shouldn't of even said perhaps to the TT v6 camaro.

It is, but I made a point...don't trust what lutz has to say until it's in production. Lutz has a tendency to run his mouth off without thinking.

I gotcha, I was just trying to get back on track.

If this camaro came out i think it would be a huge hit, as long as the price can stay in the low to mid 30s

No you didn't. He said the G8 was too good to waste and there were thoughts of a Caprice coming.

Fact is the Caprice is coming, regardless of whether Joe Q. Public will get to buy one.

You need to do a little more reading/research pumpkin. If you actually read what I had to write about, is that the caprice, may be coming as a cop car, but will not be released to the public. Hence certain underlining...

I think it's possible and a great idea? Is there talk of the Mustang getting a TT V6? Don't ask me if I think this is a good Z28 or even an SS replacement...
