If you have a reputable system and shop do the install you shouldn't have to worry too much about added maintenance with a turbo set up. BUT if something does go wrong, the supercharger system should be easier to fix, the design is more simplistic. Also it is belt driven and not driven by gases (your exhaust) so that is easier to diagnose.

Tune comes with the IPF kit, so that's one concern out of the way. ANYONE who can turn a wrench should be able to install the kit and it can be completely removed and the car put back to stock if so desired. It does boost low end power, just not as dramatically as it boosts top end. My sixth gear is actually more than just a place to park my shifter while cruising steady on a flat piece of freeway; it'll actually pull now.

just out of curiosity, could you order the kit without the tune, and have your shop use HPT? main reason i ask, is because not all cars are the same, and although the tune that comes with the kit is probably pretty spot on, i think it would be nice to have your shop tweak it.

No problem, I appreciate the info you gave me!

there's also leading edge performance, but has mixed reviews. i would talk to every shop, and see who you get the best vibe from. good luck.
Wish there was someone in Vegas who are experts on the LFX camaro, but I'll try those shops and see what's up. Thank you!

Problem is, I'm not sure if there is a reputable shop around town. I'll have to call around and ask.

So I've been looking at the IPF Supercharger kit and I have to admit it is really nice...I've also been looking for at the IPS twin turbo kit, however when I went on their website they only have it for the v8? Or would the same kit work for the v6?

No, different kit. They are just finishing up the V6 one (prototype is done). PM them and they should be able to tell you the expected availability.

Mainly its the different turbos. I think they are planning only one version for the V6 and I think they are shooting for around $6K.
