25mm isolator is the best V6 mod in the market.

I know i have seen people re-install it with just the Iceolator but i haven't seen many install it with the Plenum cover. You probably will need to extend the oil filler neck and the engine cover stud in order to re-install the cover though

All instructions are on our website: www.RevXtreme.com

Lower left corner, under "information"

No need for longer bolts unless getting the plenum spacer as well, just follow the instructions.

I'm not a mechanic but I feel like I can do the install of the iceolator. I know I need a flex head 13mm ratchet wrench for the rear bolts. What size or sizes should torque wrench be? Are all the bolts 13mm?

13 mm bolts for all the ones on the top. 18 ft lbs of TQ when installing them. Be sure to do it while the engine is cold.

So would you consider buying a torque wrench for this install mandatory?

Would a $20 deflection bar torque wrench be good enough?

Yes, breaking that bolt off in the head would be bad.

No, I would invest in a good torque wrench. Every mechanic should have one. Can be used for every bolt on the car. Including the lug nuts. I use mine often. Every time I change to my drag radials, rotate my tires, etc.

Question regarding the DIY.
When port matching. Isn't it a bad this to have the dust from the shaving fall into the hole ?

Gasket-matching has been said to be worth a few HP, but isn't entirely necessary if a stock intake manifold is being used, since the IM ports are same size as the head ports and both are smaller than the gasket openings. If the IM has been ported and its ports match the gasket opening, then the stock head ports leave a sharp corner sticking into the flow. It is recommended to blend that in to match the gasket opening. It isn't a lot of material that gets removed.

That's great to know !! If I decide to do this my self what should I do to prevent the dust and residue from falling in
