My radiator leaked after I got my 2010 camaro ss in a accident im wondering if I should upgrade to an aftermarket radiator maybe a mishimoto? Or should I go with an oem one? I have everything stock except my cold air intake.

when I think of Indonesia, I don't think of performance car parts. Do your due diligence.

Hey guys,

Figured we would chime in here, being that we are referenced in a few posts!

Our radiator is not made by CSF, we are in no way related to CSF. Our radiator was designed and fully tested by our engineering team here in New Castle, DE. A few of the improvements we saw compared to the stock radiator during our testing process are shown below.
  • .5 gal of additional fluid capacity
  • 20% greater cooling efficiency
  • Lowered radiator outlet temperatures by 20°F
  • Full aluminum construction
Our entire engineering report can be found at the link below.

The factory radiator is likely sufficient for stock and mildly modified street vehicles. If you plan to track the car at all, an upgraded cooling system is a wise investment.

An aluminum radiator is a great upgrade to the plastic unit provided by the manufacturer. If you intend to drive the vehicle aggressively or track the car, it is also a great upgrade for some extra cooling protection. We also provide a lifetime warranty on all of our products, so keep that in mind as well!

Thanks!

Here in Phoenix we use Ron Davis radiators to upgrade . Don't know if he makes a direct replacement for the 5th gen ,but the ones I have used in the past were great .The one I put in the Hummer really kept it cool ,much cooler then the stock GM rad ever did since new. Made the AC 15 degrees cooler in the summer too .

Curious as well.

I replace my coolant solution every 1-2 years, with 60% distilled water, 40% OEM phosphate free coolant and RedLine WaterWetter. I love this formula on my summer only driven cars.

I have never lost a radiator in 25 sum odd years and million miles logged.
