i was looking at new camaros, 13 still at dealer lot today. they had a black SS with the color matched GM grill. i like the look of it. VS the factory stock one. its anothe $436 dollars. i am looking at a black vert new, that doesnt have the custom grill but i like the look. is invoice of $436 too much if i have the dealer put it on?

You have to take off the bumper, pull out the old grille and stick the new one in. Not too hard. Once the bumper is off, it takes 5 minutes to switch grilles

That's not too bad. The grille painted costs like $335 so that's about $100 for installation which isn't ridiculous

i bought the car, and he quoted me $380 for heritage grill and install. so i had him do that. he covered cost of the wheel flares and rear carpet mats. but the heritage grill without bowtie looks really nice, and probably worth the 380. i will still keep the stock grill in my basement if i ever sell the car

Ebay has a pretty good deal on them now. Color matched with the bowtie for $306.
