Tail light tint

Over a year and a half ago i ordered acrylic tail light tints from RPI and they are great but last night for the first time i was pulled over at night for having them on. I was told by the officer that he only saw the break light in the middle light up which i think is because you can clearly see them during the day. Anyways, Whats a good film tint that still looks good but clearly visible when breaking? I really love the look of them smoked

by any chance do you have any shots of them installed with the break lights on/off?

I feel like the tints are going to be a better choice to go with now just because the acrylic plates I have right now are just super thick.

Check their website...they have pics there. I went with their gunsmoke. Gives it a dark look but can still see the tail light lens.

Mine is not a percentage, it is VHT tail light spray, with 3 coats of spray on it.

I got mine from headlightarmor.com
You can see videos on their site with lights on and off, from 200+ distance. Which is the distance in most states for being legal. I recommend you look up your states statutes and educate yourself on this. That eay if you ever get pulled over again you can rattle it off to the officer if needed.
