Looking to upgrade converter- need help

Looking into changing out the stock converter on my wife's car. Wanting to pick up the 60' times and 1/4 mile times. I'm currently looking at the Yank PT series with around a 4000 stall. What's your thoughts? I also just saw the Circle D converters. Need help deciding what to go with. Thanks

Is your wife's car the one in your sig, or something different? Regardless, we would be happy to help spec a converter that will suit your needs.

A 4000 stall converter will make a huge difference and bring you really close to being in the 12 second e.t range. That said, given your modifications, it seems a bit radical. Is this a daily driver, or just a weekend toy?

Are you having a hard time getting it to hook at the track? Is this why you are running 13.8? The converter will definitely help, but you need to get it to hook if not already.

We are in Colorado so we fight the altitude, it has Nitto drag radials on it. It spins them a little off the line and on the 1-2 shift. Getting ready to change to MT SS drag radials. I just sold my 68 Chevelle that dyno's 1400hp so I do know a little about drag racing. Thanks

We would like to get it in the 13.0 range and when we have good air see some high 12's.

Pretty much a weekend toy, it's a 2012 with 22k miles. She drives it to and from the track which is a little over an hour away from our house. It sits pretty much all winter long. Thanks

High altitude makes sense. I would go with our 245mm 5C like IneedAZ was running. Should do the trick. You have your choice of single disk or triple disk lockup. Did you have a preference there?

Single is fine.
