Don't feel bad about choosing school over parts. I chose cars over school right out of high school. While I had a lot of fun, I'd be having a lot more fun had I done school first. Now I'm a 29yo Junior. Better late than never -- just don't do it like I am!

Yep, I did my suspension Sophomore year of college once I got a decent paying internship. Now I've graduated and am in the Air Force, I'm making plenty of money to buy the parts I need to build that car how I want.

Or would it be better not to have a cut out? Or what what be a good one to get and where would be the best place to put it?

You may want to take a look at DMH and QTP, too.

I'm not sure how much of a result you'd get from a cutout, though.

Id almost rather have a manual one compared to an electic one lol

Where would be a good place to locate it?

Best place to locate a cutout is in the I pipe before the axle. But since I have a bullet there, I'm installing mine to be the connection point between the Y and I pipes. If you're going electric, neat thing is that the body seal plugs for the floors can be sliced to allow the wires into the cabin without drilling any holes. Run it under the carpet to the console/seat and wire it in to power.

I think you would be better to spend the money elsewhere.

I agree, don't put a cutout on a v6. It sounds like shit.

In my opinion cutout are for sleeper cars with big engines that have a quiet exhaust on them so when a honda tries to be badass you can just open the cutout and leave 30ft black posi peel out marks. 30ft however can, in some/most cases be an understatement.
