On the rx single valve does the check valve go on the blower side? Just got mine in the mail and it had no instructions then rx site only has a listing for the dual valve on there site.

I have your same set-up do you have the line run to the stock intake or a aftermarket cai? could you take a moment a snap a pic of the other line? And did you have any issue runnig the hose under the engine cover?

You need a dual port, are you referring to 3 port?
The RX can catches all the oil (no other can is as effective period, but a few come close) so there is no ingestion past the can. I think you may refering to most cans that do allow as much through as they catch.

Also, I like the pictures of mounting it differently, but we have had zero issues mounting as shown....but probably only 50-100 ZL1' cans sold so far, but we have used the same spot on other applications for thousands w/no issues.

Here is another place to install the catch can out of the way. It looks and works great. Post number 53 of this thread

My Buddy here,TNSPD,has come up with the ultimate CC mounting location for the ZL1.I have seen his install in person and it's perfect and looks factory.

He hasn't shared it here but I will give you a clue .

(1) It uses the supplied RX bracket but is turned vertically the length of the Can.

(2)It mounts to a existing stud or bolt hole on the sub-frame cross member.

That's all I'm going to say

For anyone with a top mount Super Charger, just look at the difference using the RX catchcan system and not. 16k miles with the rx system:

15k miles w/out it:

It is a must on any modern gasoline car or light truck, but FI it is critical.

So how does the can with the check valve work as there is not one in the factory setup. The valley connection goes to the middle input of the can and the output of the can that has the check valve goes to the SC snout? So is there every supposed to be reverse flow into the valley from the snout as the check valve would prevent this.

Thanks

The checkvalves accomplish 2 things. First, it controls the flow so the vapors are not whipping through so fast that the droplets are not pulled through with the flow, and so at WOT (with a NA or top mount SC) the oil is not sucked back into the crankcase as the oil trapped is full of harmfull compounds concentrated in that oil and you never want them reintroduced back into the crankcase.

Thanks!

So just to make sure, valley to middle port on can, outside CV port to snout correct on LSA?

The OPs mount looks great, my only concern would be the plastic mount that he is hooked to if that breaks while running there might be some major damage if it got caught up in the belts. Just my .2cents.
