Your spot on!! Matt did mine, see my signature and I was at 389. I had a G8 GXP that Matt did, similar mods, stock headers, auto and it got 374. I ran the same setup on a dynojet and it came up 412... From what I have read and heard there is about an 10 to 15% difference between the two with the Dynojet always giving the higher number. Much debate out there though!! All I care about its the results when I bury my right foot!!

This will be interesting because I had mine on a Mustang dyno and they told me it was 453 HP and they said to add 15% to that for a dynojet. Whats everyone think of this???

Sounds about right... Tough to pinpoint though cause unless you can do the pulls at almost the same time with the same tuner it can vary somewhat. But from all the cars I have seen run both over the years its pretty consistant at 10-15% higher for the Dynojet.

My Father owns Mustang dynamometer and i am currently a salesmen for the company... now here is the difference in the numbers. Here at Mustang we have perfected the real load simulation...so the car acts exactly how it is going to act on the dyno as it would on the road...while dynojet has not perfected that so the number teand to be a little higher and do not simulate real road driving...now which dyno would you want to tune on the dyno that gives you false acquisition of the road or one that is identical conditions? If anyone still has any questions feel free to private message me and i can go into more detail.

A dyno should be used for comparison between mods to see what the change is and you should use the same dyno as even the same model can be a little different from unit to unit. 10 different dynos will give you 10 different results. That does seem a little low for an LS3 with those mods but not by much. You might need to fine tune the tune.

ok once again i will say this... Mustang Dyno's are the ONLY dynos that have perfected real vehicle loading... this means your car is driving exactly on the dyno as it does on the road... so Mustang Dyno numbers are the exact HP you are getting to the wheels that are getting to the road...while other dynos do not do that so the number reads higher becuase it is not properly loading the vehicle if loading at all... i have a 2010 camaro SS with 424RWHP on a mustang dyno with your average bolt on list tuned by Bob Morreale, owner of www.Thetuningschool.com and i do about a 12.4

Matt said, owner of the shop and my install, the reason why it might be a lil low is because i've been babying it which was true at the time, i had the dyno tune back in september, so since then i've been getting on it a lil more so maybe my next tune it will put down more?

Dynojets more consistent over Mustang dyno. Not because Mustang dyno are bad but they have more varables the can be changed .
Everthing ive seen and read Mustang are tougher on #s with factory setting.

See the thing is your number is not low (unless the dyno was calibrated that way) your just getting a REAL number, rather than a HP reading of a car on rollers... Many car fanatics idea of HP is everything has to be higher...while yes it is nice to have high HP why would you want a false reading rather than a real reading?
