Just thought I'd update for anyone who cares that I finally got my windshield fixed from that doozy I incurred on this trip.

I made sure to get OEM parts and they did a beautiful job. It sure is nice to have no more rock pits! I also got it re-tinted 50% 3M Color-stable like I had before. It's actually much better than it was before. I can't recommend Lucky Dog Auto Glass or Advanced Tint enough.

Advanced Tint always does an amazing job, but this time it's much clearer, I think due to the new windshield, or maybe I just had a bad bit of film last time. I had thought it was a normal side effect of tinting that lights and road signs would appear slightly distorted and shimmery, as they did with the previous tint job, but this time it's ultra clear and I see no distortions whatsoever. As always, no bubbles.

Lucky Dog did an expert job with a quick turnaround and the installation is perfect.

Kinda weird not having the rally numbers on there anymore but I'll get used to it. :P

Looks good and the carbon fiber sure adds a nice touch.

Thanks. It's this hood, and I painted the metal vent inserts Synergy Green.

I do not recommend replacing your hood by yourself. I'm amazed I was able to do it without a helper. :\
