I'd almost expect that to happen. Not really sure dip damage is avoidable in that situation.

Here is a youtube video where they show how to fix tears and texture with paint thinner. No need to remove and respray.

Put the new Anthracite metallic grey on my wheels today. Prior to glossifier.

After glossifier and finished. Couldn't get the overspray off the tire much. Didn't lay it on enough.

You can also see where I've dipped the "Camaro" lettering and my front splitter. Splitter is black w/glossifier.

know this is primarily show and tell thread, but does anyone know who you can get plasti-dip from in Canada?

I don't want to pay duty and shipping for a single bottle of black matte plasti-dip.

In Ontario, other than most car accessory type shops you can buy it at home hardware

Same happened here. Took it to the car wash and blasted it off. I will be redoing mine shortly!

I don't think I ever posted pics of my old hood that I dipped..

And trunk and spoiler(I removed it to dip).

and of course the wheels

I might try some glossy fire on the wheels...since I have to redo them. They lasted a year of highway driving and automatic car washes until I needed tires.

So I joined the plastidip revolution. I did the wheels, fender emblems, lettering in the gas door, and the bottom of the air dam.
