Windshied Water Reservoir

Do we need this much w/w fluid?

Are we stocking up w/w fluid for the Zombie Apocalypse?

Thinking 'we' can go w/half or even 1/4 of OE size and better position the w/w reservoir in a less important place in the back section of the engine bay.

THEN that valuable area the w/w reservoir currently dominates in the front section of the engine bay can be better used to house an OE ram-air like the BigGulp---maybe?

Surprised some six sigma black belt has not leaned this part out.
Think of the weight and material saved...

yeah...they are waaay large capacity. With my cold air setup, mine went bye bye. I rarely drive it in the rain and would never use the washers anyways.

A moonshine runner could use this reservoir to haul the distilled stuff. It's way too big.

Maybe it's just me, but I hate seeing a bat touching any part of a ZL1. LOL

When I see things like that I wonder how much Chev really cares about making the Camaro lighter. I know it's just a W/W tank but all the little things together add up in the end.

Can you weigh it full for us? Thanks. My guess 12 lbs.

Looks like about the right size for converting to methanol injection

Is it the same one from other Camaro models? If so, they were just probably trying to save money by not having aanother one built for the ZL1. But I agree, I never use the washer fluid, it would probably do something to my Zaino finish if it oversprays the windshield.

We couldn't agree more!! So we thought for those of you with the Big Gulp and intercooler res, we need to go into R&D on a seperate ww relocation kit. Here are some pics of our clay mock up on the car. Strut tower brace is removed for clarity.

Capacity for this kit is right around 1qt. We will keep you guys updated on the progress!!
