Track in SoCal???

Where can I run a road course or autocross type event in southern California? The suspension is bone stock at the moment but I'm planning on Pdadt lowering springs and their sway bars. Wheels and tires are stock at the moment too. I'd like to know if you guys can tell me where I can track my car in southern California and what should I expect. Thank you.

I've run my '95 Z28 at Willow Springs 6 times and it's a blast. High speed track with 9 turns. It's located about an hour north of LA.

I'm also in San Diego. It sounds fun and an hour north of LA isn't bad considering all of the fun I'm sure I'll have. Do you know what it costs to run out there?

Willow Springs is an average of $160. There's Button Willow, California Speedway, Chuckwalla (track day then go to Vegas). Click on the links at each track and there's always a Organization with scheduled track days. Here's one org that goes to Willow Springs http://www.opentrackracing.com . If you've done track days on a motorcycle then doing track days in car is not a hard transition.

I've joined Open Tracking Racing events; well run group! Typically I've gone to their one day events; usually at Wednesday with racing from 7 AM to 5 PM, and as stated above about $160. I've also been out with other groups that rent the track for the weekend; cost will be about $250 for the 2 day event.
