One wouldn't expect big differences in a panic stop test if the tires are the same or nearly the same. You cannot out-brake the tires. Where larger brakes come into play is in repeated stopping, or in cases where the smaller brakes cannot engage the ABS at high speeds (more tire than brakes).

The SS Brembos are certainly better than the V-6 (PBR) brakes, but they are still well short of a full track solution for those few who really need it.

No squealing issues for me I have had them for over a year now. The best upgrade for me was the stopping power compared to the V6 brakes....

Handles the twin turbo's very well.....

Just based on the fact that there is a couple of pounds of weight added to the Brembos which is usually there to dampen vibration.
I purchase from SLP my front Brembos and they are the second generation with the lolipops. The rears I purchased brand new at the dealer ( except for the rotors) and those I had to assemble the bracket, pads and hoses.
As far a noise, there isn't any.

I did all the install myself and it took me about six hours to complete.
Things to keep in mind if your going to do it your self is take your time and check leaks. There are four places for each calipers for posible leaks. 1) where the hose connects to the brake line. 2) where the hose meets the caliper. 3) and finally the two bleader valves, that if not tighten snug could creat a slite leak and eventually draw in air ( which I think it's what happened to me.)
Be careful not to over thighten the bleared valve or you can blow the treads!

I've been watching this and it appears to be a good deal, at least the shipping is under $100.

Looks like a good deal, however two thing that concern me. The box where these brakes come in from factory is a GM box with a Ac Delco part number not the fancy Brembo box shown. The second is that this guy only has just over 20 reviews. I paid total of $950 for mine with a combination of new and used parts just my two cents.

I was thinking that maybe he upgraded to better Brembos and put the stock brakes in the Brembo boxes. Yeah, the low feedback concerns me too.

Have you contacted fesler in AZ? I got mine from them for $500 plus shipping (brand new take off set as well).

Here's the link to the SLP Clearance site on eBay - http://stores.ebay.com/slp-performan...=p4634.c0.m322

There is a set of Front SS Calipers, Rotors and lines as a comparison point.

Yeah, that's what I was talking about, over $100 shipping for just the fronts.
