cleaning the grille...
as you can see in my avatar i HAD a grille. it was on there when i bought the car and i just removed it. the black plastic in the grille is now rotten and probably never cleaned. u can see lines of dirt built up where the grille was. i tried scrubbing with a toothbrush endlessly with heavy duty glass cleaner, soap, bug & tar remover as well as mothers black plastic + trim shine. nothing really works. any suggestions other than getting it painted?

I would suggest a good all purpose cleaner for instance Adams makes a great APC that eats away dirt and grime like no other. Should solve your problem
