Oregon Raceway Park

Oregon Raceway Park on 8 Sep, 2014. This track is amazing. Super technical with a banked 'half pipe' section, most corners are blind with significant elevation changes. This track is like riding a roller coaster. Finally got my CTSV brakes figured out from the fiasco I had with them running at Portland a few weeks before, so I was stoked about that as well. This lap also shows me getting a little out of shape on turn 16.

GPS glitch made the track shape a little goofy in corner 9.

Gingerman Raceway 9-7-14. I ran a 1:46.959 on my second time lap in the first session with some very worn out tires, but the camera did not turn on when the track addict app was running. I purchased the GoPro multi cable with a mic and small usb input, but when I plug the usb into my usb in the center console it just charges the camera and will not let it record. Wish I would have found that out before my first session. Anyway here are a couple videos. I used racerender's software for the first time, and I must say it was very easy to do the data overlays. Enjoy!

Awesome, you finally tried the ORP! It's my favorite track in Pacific Northwest. Since I bought my 1LE almost by the end of season, I could only do one track day with it so far, and it was at the ORP as well:

The ORP club is adding a track day on 18th October, Saturday. If you'd like, I could get you the discounted pricing I told you about. I will hopefully attend, and will finally get to try my air-to-oil cooling!

Boy I like the look of that course.

Was this video from a while ago or is it with your new engine?

Pete

I guarantee you I will be down there by next summer. It looks awesome. But right now, need to get the car back from Arrington, out to VIR for shakedown testing, and then will do some local stuff at VIR and Summit Point before winter sets in. Really looking forward to spring!

That is a awesome track, elevation, banking, off camber corners, lots of run off, no trees/barriers. Nice work! Big car to hustle on that tight of a track!

Nice work, ??, how did you record the audio, it is very good, no wind noise. What city is the track near? Looks fun.

That track is amazing, I can't wait to get back and and really push the car hard. Unfortunately I won't be able to make the 18th since I have some out of town work coming up. Next year we for sure need to meet up and run the track. I'll have another video to post from my last track day in Spokane... Car ran super hard. Great vid btw!

If my brother also comes along (and he's faster than me), it'd be 3 1LEs! That would be fun.

The track day will be confirmed tomorrow. I'll be installing the oil cooler and the header over the weekend, and I'll receive my Z/28 full suspension package on Tuesday! I might not have enough time to install the package before the track day, though.

Now, if only I could decide on the brakes... : )
