ARH Headers w/ MBRP catback
Was wondering if anyone had a set up like this? This is what Im looking at for my first upgrade.
I have the factory GFX and MBRP seems to be the only company that has the rectangle tail pipes. This is the first muscle car Ive had in 20 years (1st was an 81 Z-28...). Anyway alot has changed sense then and I havent really been keeping up with all the new mods that are available although Ive been doing alot of research. Any comments are appreciated... Thanks in advance for the help.. Edit....Just realized that this is in the general discussion thread and not the exaust thread...Mods feel free to move...My bad |

If that combo is too loud for you I would check with MBRP and see if they will sell you just the tips. I thought I heard somewhere that they would.
If so you can have those added to any system you want.

To the OP... if you're not planning on Headers and just go catback you should be alright. ...add headers and this setup will probably wake the neighbors 3 blocks down. MBRP is one of the best for sure... |

True about the headers... I have Corsa and it's a pretty loud blast when I first start up cold every morning at 5AM. But cruising around it's not bad at all. |

I have this set-up in my car...ARC headers MBRP exhaust, yes there is drone from the exhaust, but not so bad since I changed out my gears out to 3.73..
You can buy just the exhaust tips from MBRP

Also, I was thinking about changing over to 3.73 gears later on can you tell a difference in preformance from the stock gears? I want to stay with MBRP catback I really like they way they sound not a 100% sure if Im going to do a header switch or not... Thanks for all the input its been really helpfull... |

If you even think it's a remote possibility it will probably happen. Worst case scenario go with the MBRP. If you end up going with headers you can always sell your system a recover a chunk of the money. Then put that towards the next setup.

Im just having a hard time trying to figure out the right system...There is so many out there, which is a good thing but makes the decision that much harder. I would preferably like to keep eveything the same for obvious reasons.... |
