Caliper weights?
The weights on the front rear of the front calipers do those need replaced? I am having my new powder coated calipers installed? Thanks

Those weights were an attempt to diminish vibration/noise on the brakes on the 2010 models. Not sure when but the 2011 models went with the roller skates on the brake pads instead. I just had a spare set of 2010 calipers powder coated and will not be putting the weights on. Obviously since GM went with modified pads, the weights didn't work too well. My '11 car has the roller skates, but I'm putting Hawks HPS pads on it once I swap calipers.

I have an early 2010. I guess I will leave them off and see what happenes.
