Thanks for the info, I kinda expect the delivery to be at least 1 month based off what I see for in transit vehicles to my dealer, but at least its looking like im getting a 22 and not getting back in line for a 23

to the forums, Newcastle.

We have a thread where you can ask about your order status based on the 6-letter order code you should have received when placing the order, and a very helpful salesman (Joe P) will give you complimentary updates: https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=415251

The way I am tracking this, it appears GM has the production scheduled through mid-March now. The 2023’s are ‘targeted’ to start production early June. So, using rough numbers, that leaves 45 days open for 2022 production. I don’t see, at least speaking for myself, that I will move past 1100. I have already alerted my salesman to place me in first as soon as the 2023 ordering opens up in May.

Try not to think about it. I waited 5-1/2 months without getting an allocation from my dealer. I found one in transit that wasn't a presold and bought that one. Good luck to you. Hopefully you'll have a car before winter.

Getting a 22 ain’t looking too good for me either … I got a dealership that can get me an allocation for a 22 for $5000 over MSRP but I’ll just wait. Hopefully they introduce some crazy colors for 2023 like the Crush Orange. Patience is a virtue I guess

You have to look at the "TPW" dates on the top of the constraint lists. The latest constraints are targeted for production mid-March, I believe. There may not be production for this week 2/7 for certain sub-models... besides the remaining TPW 1/31's...

The real problem is most Dealers won't be up front with the customer about whether they have an allocation for your build or not, or how long or if they ever will get one. I have learned more about ADS/ DOSP/Constraints/4-Pass Process/Dealer Review than I ever wanted too. Just tell me (Do you have an Allocation, Yes or No). Now I'm ready to move on to a dealer that has one for 23. How you may ask ? Show me your est. Shipment report(next 60 days of Allocations), show me Final placement by week report, Show me your present preliminary order request report. There is a dealer in Detroit that has 10 22' Camaro's for sale right now. So now I'm looking locally about who has the best turn/ earn ADS for Camaro's to do my 23 order if need be or I'm heading to that dealer in Detroit, if they answer my questions to my satisfaction. 1 month to build a car, 1 month to deliver a car, OK, 3, 4, 5, 6 ,7 months for an allocation not OK.

I’m from Michigan and I believe I am familiar with the vehicle you about to purchase..Feldman is in Novi and two other places and they have huge dealer markup on their vehicle be sure to get a contract stating they will sell you a vehicle for what you discuss over the phone to prevent a wasted trip.

For example they want 59k for a 1SS 1LE A10 with no other options..very overpriced if you ask me.
