No, because the NT05s have more dry grip. (Invos are superior in the wet)
I have friends that do a lot of racing (street tires only - non drag radials) and they run the NT05s.
They tried the Invos and they were not happy with them.

If you can run decent 60' times with the Invos, you should do better with the NT05s.

Wow
My one and only time ever was a 2.271 60FT 113.57 trap @12.911
Looking at your sig I am guessing you have a auto ?
My traps are higher my HP is higher (425.6 RWHP) your times are better. I need to
learn how to launch.
PS that was on the Pzeros also . It would be nice if the 315's helped.

did same thing; but the PZero cut better 60 foot times....look at the treads...a bit more rubber to grab from the PZero (also 220 vs 260 rating).
best 60 fts on INVOs (315s): 2.0.
They autocross great...but not the drag launch (hot or cold....)

Yes,mine is an Auto.
The mods I have is CAI,scoop,Long tube,exhaust,tune.
Tune is on the mild side as well. For now.....
The DA at the track was 400-500 all day.So it would depend on which track that you race.
Manual cars are ussually faster, but they are harder to work with at the track.Practice makes perfect though

Yep, A6 is much easier to get off the line (transfers power much smoother to the rear wheels).

I've seen lots of A6 cars get a dead hook (basically no wheel spin) off the line using stock P-Zeros at the track.

Back when I was tune only, I was pulling 1.93 - 1.97 sec 60' all day on the stock P-Zeros with basically no wheel spin coming off the line.

Fair enough.

Sure gripped well on launch but down the track keeping it WOT it slipped like crazy in second gear.

Feathered the launch. I love these tires.

At your power level, you definitely need drag radials.
My car is bolt ons + converter and I have issues getting drag radials to hook. But when I was stockish, the P-Zeros worked fine.

I recently dropped down to 18" wheel/tire (305/45/18 NT555Rs) setup for better traction.

My real problem is that from the flywheel back I'm stock, drive train wise.

Tires like the NT555Rs would probably work well for you (at the track). They are stickier than regular street tires, but not as sticky as tires like MT or NT05Rs. And definitely stay away from slicks.

With my setup, I can still spin the 305/45/18 Nitto NT555Rs fairly easy. But they're 100% better than running regular street tires. I now feel fairly confident that when I nail the gas, I'm going to have decent traction (even from slower speed rolls).

I traded the car in. The tires didn't have many miles on them so I couldn't say. I sold the tires to a member. They did hook pretty good, but I never went Back to the track.
