Man that sucks but I would wait for what the insurance says before even imagining another car. I mean Since it is reported the insurance this will show up on car fax as being fixed and having hail damage and lowering the value of the car so I don't see how the dealer is gonna make any money on it. Who would buy a car that had hail damage on it. Your best bet is hoping for a total loss which is a stretch even though it looks bad it might still be fixed. Well I hope its good news for you.

It's too bad the dealer you bought your car from wouldn't take pity on you and sell you an SS and give you a good deal on your trade in. This thread is a wake up call, lol I need to check the weather more often before going out in my car.

I know the feeling of having a vehicle beat up.
my 94 S10/SS also black. April 10 , 2001 i was at
work for Trans World Air. Parked in the employee lot
near the hangars and several vehicles were damaged.
Mine was totalled due to the level of damage and mileage

Wow looking at those pics makes me want to cry. I've never seen hail damage like that! I hope everything works out for you. Totalled from hail damage, never heard of that. Crazy but now I believe it.

At the adjuster shop now and it's not looking good the dent repair guy said he doesn't even want to touch it. Everything needs to be replaced panal to panal. The adjuster is drawing up an cost right now hopefully it's a good amount.

Best case scenario in my opinion, they total it and you get a check for fair value, maybe the dealer cuts you a deal on an SS they've had sitting for a while

I know waiting on them now they keep looking at the damage shaking their heads so hopefully that's a good thing and they come back with a fair price. The dealer saw it yesterday and said 17,000 with the damage

Lay on the ground and blow in the exhaust pipe, the dings will pop out,but make sure the windows are rolled up so the pressure don't escape.

They gave me a check for 9,000 and said if it comes to be more their ok with giving more. But I'm at the dealership and they are trying to see what their going to do for me. I don't plan on fixing this car because I rather upgrade and not have to worry about it
