2014 electric steering issues.
So, recently I had a D1SC, Drag Pack and a few other small extras put on my 2014 SS/RS. After it was installed we started having issues with the electric steering. When I accelerate hard the electric steering like turns off and it is just like manual steering only harder to turn. It doesn't do this every time. The dealership has taken a look at it and they can't figure it out.
Has anyone else had these issues and if so what did they do to remedy it? Thanks

Is it EPS. It could be similar issue to what the SS sedan has a recall for.

While putting cam and blower on the wife's car, I discovered a harness under the car that was chaffed all the way thru the corrugated plastic and starting to chaffe thru the wiring. Caught it in time before steering failure. The harness is a little tight. GM should have made some of them a little longer. Here's a pic if it helps. This should be checked on all camaros imo.

Had the same problem after I removed my front sway bar. Mine was the plug itself the went into the rack. The connector don't fit tight.
