Amp/Sub install - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Alright, just wanted to let everyone see the new handy work of my friend and I. We added a JBL 12GTiMkII and a Diamond Audio Hex 700.2. I did use a line convertor a Cache Cloc-D. There are no hole's anywhere in the car from this install. The carpet on the driver side fender unfortunatley had to be cut. The box is all 1/2 MDF with a fiberglass piece over the fender well. There is about 2.2 cu.ft. in the enclosure 2.0 overall with the sub in place. The amp rack is mounted so the original carpet can slide under it, while it mounts with double sided tape and pressure from the fit. Ther is really no way the thing can come out without yanking or taking the amp of of the mounting board.

I added a small clip of a TikTok that did not come out real well. I was trying to show the diffrence in sound but well as usual bass is not easily picked up in cameras. The trunk lid can be seen moving though hince the reason you have to sound dampen. All in all this thing turned out nice and my friend would love to do more of them. I am trying to figure it out, instead of being critical would you mind giving some advise on how to get them posted?

Have you tried using the attach feature of the forum. I use it all the time and have had no problems.

If you click on the paperclip icon when creating your message, it will come up with a new window to upload photos from your computer.

Real easy to use.

EDIT: Just saw the link. Looks good

to post an image, click on the "go advanced" button below the text box. Then when you get the new box to post in, at the top there is a little button that looks like a picture (when you mouse over it, it says "insert image.")

Darth that is what I normally do and it works but not this time for some reason. All it gets is the box with a red x in it.
