Splitter removal

Does anyone know how to remove the factory ground effects splitter from the front of a 2011 Camaro SS? It seems to be riveted in place. Any help or advise would be appreciated.

It is riveted. You need to drill them out. It's the only way. There are also brackets riveted onto the bumper that the splitter clips onto. After you drill those out you'll have visible holes along the bottom part of your bumper. Not a good idea unless you are replacing with another splitter.

Thanks for getting back to me. I had a feeling it was riveted. I will be replacing it with the ACS T3 splitter so I would think the holes on the bottom of the bumper will be taken care of. We'll see. Thanks.
