there are modded V6's here running faster times than some modded V8's. do some research.

But so what? Who cares? How about trying to stick to the OP's topic. I'm tired of reading any post regarding a V6 turning into a bash thread.

Do us all a favor, and go trade your SS for a new 5.0 GT. It's faster stock for stock anyways.....

If I remember correctly the thread is about the OP not wanting a rice sounding exhaust and one that is deeper and better sounding for his V6 ? Now it's v6 vs v8 vs supercharged v8, whats next? Z28 vs F16 vs space shuttle? How about v6 vs 4 cyl? I think, IMO, when there is a topic everyone please STAY ON TOPIC! This forum has proved that it has to many inmature people ready to rag on each other over stupid things as what we see here when we should be trying to help the ones with the questions!! Besides, and I know this will burst some bubbles, in the real world few people out there give a crap about Your V8 supercharged or otherwise, or our V6's either, There are more important things in life to be concerned with.

Let the Hate stay with the Mustang people, Here we should stick together and support!

Thanks for listening to my rant.

Get corsa!

Not sure I'd want a muffler that stands for Mustang Racing Technologies on my camaro, I don't care how good it sounds...

Op, I have had the same thoughts as you when listening to different aftermarket exhausts for the v6. I got a set of doug thorley headers, I'll see how they sound on the stock exhaust. Yesterday though I saw an LT driving with an after market exhaust. I caught up with him and he told me he had the flowmaster american thunders on. Wow, did they sound nice! I thought it was a very smooth tone. Alot of videos show people w/ after market exhaust doing wide open throttle runs...but how often are you actually going to be doing that? My car is my daily driver so I am more concerned about how it sounds under normal cruising.

dude i really don't wanna start this up again so stop egging me on and saying stuff like that.. you know dam well its dumb to make a v6 camaro that fast.. when you could just modded a chevy v8.. much better engine to mod. why do you think chevy uses LS engines in there top cars. chevy makes some of the best v8s on the planet. not v6s

you sound dumb telling me to trade in my car.. like wtf does that have to do with what i say... plus my car is faster then a stock 5.0 not by much. but still faster.

Still, if you're going to put money into the car, why not just save and buy a 1SS or something.
yeah, thats probably the dumbest thing I've heard on this forum. That whole GO BIG OR GO HOME idea is really stupid. If I wanna trick out a v6, then I will. Let me do me.

a z/28 camaro with 550+hp LSA engines vs 3.6L 312 HP ...hummm trust me the z/28 owners will be worse then the SS owners will ever be
Dude, when you take viagra, do you get taller?
Trust me. The normal SS owner and the normal Z28 owner aren't as big a dickhead as you come off as.

The only way you will truly know what sound you like is by trial and error. I saw a lot of guys saying they liked corsa for both v8 and v6. I just put the corsa on my ride and I like it because it's not raspy and loud enough for me.

Some of you out there will never believe it, cause some people are just stuck on their own opinions...but the truth of it is you can make the V6 sound very V8 like down low and somewhat midrange, but you will never mistake a V6 for a V8 when the RPMs climb higher.

That said, there are setups out there with none or very little rasp as well. You just have to research...and trust me Ive done that. --->>> http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33104
