my argument is the fact that the ZL1 can put the power to the ground way better..less slipping and traction loss issues creates better times around a track and the 1/4 mile

We don't really know about the 6thgen. We do know it will be on Alpha and will probably weigh less than the ATS for comparative powertrains.

...wait till about 12:45 Eastern time tomorrow to say anything about Z/28.....there is nothing to support that right now. And, I think there will not be any Z until the Gen 6 Camaro. We may get a LS7 option now until then before it goes away, but it surely will not be called a Z/28.
