ALS is a terrible disease...As fun as it is to see folks dumping ice water over themselves for a good cause I heard something pretty disappointing about the ALS foundation. I heard that only 7 cents of every dollar they get goes to treatment/research..the rest goes to pockets of their paid employees. That's the REAL awareness issue!

Its like that for most foundations that raises money...very few have the bulk of the money go to the cause. Those people that come to you door are paid....so is the supervisor thats driving them around...paid very well. A family friend used to be that supervisor. Sadly its just not the ALS foundation.

I've had that......but there is no real forum for bringing a little laugh and some awareness about something that needs it. If you look through the general section....some threads are just plain bad. Besides I said "future camaro owner"

Also, what's up with everyone doing these challenges wrong?
I remember the challenge being donate $100 to ALS research or dump a bucket of ice water over your head. Now people are just dumping ice on their head and not actually donating.
