If you're getting the stripes painted within a month, your car should be fine. Just keep it as clean as possible until you add polish.

Get the stripes panted, wait at least a week, and polish away.

Thanks! I've had my car less than a week and already washed her like 4 times... I don't think keeping her clean will b a problem

I "Zaino"ed my camaro for the first time today and all I can say is this stuff is unbelievable. Ive got the factory black stripes and went right over them with #2. It does put a slight sheen to the stripes, nothing drastic, plus the polish has UV protectant in it per Sal Ziano. Should have it done tomorrow, will take a couple pics.

I talked to the guy that is painting my stripes ,and he said go ahead and polish it up.He is going to sand and wash the parts that are being painted. You will just have to re-do those panels after it's done.

I just finished clay-baring and washing mine, just before the skies opened up.I'm gonna take a break for a bit and start ploishing it in the garage.

Can you put Zaino on the matte black strips that get installed from the dealer?
