Anyone else here take delivery of V6 have a whistling noise?

Does anybody in here have the V6? I do, and I notice a funny noise when its started up. Like a loud whistling noise or something..sounds like it may be coming from the belt. If anyone has a V6 in here..do you have the same issue?

thats alot of miles to be on a sold order, most cars should get there with 5 or less miles. someone took it for a joyride.

I know the whistle you are referring to....

I have a 2010 V6 (automatic) as well, and the "whistle" noise happens when I start it.

It seems to only happen when the car has been sitting for a while (or has sat overnight). I don't think it is a belt that is making the noise.

Each time I start the car in the morning, it seems to to take 20 - 30 seconds to "settle down". I have the 4 pk of cluster gauges under the stereo/HVAC area, and it seems that the oil pressure goes to the max during these 20 - 30 seconds. If I tap the brake during this time (like if I'm about to put the car in gear), it whistles at me for a few seconds and then stops. I'll push the brake again, and it does it again. This goes on until the engine idles down a bit.

I'm not sure what the problem is, but i don't think it should be happening. I actually have my car in the shop (at the dealer) right now. They are looking into this problem.

Mine doesn't do it... but the normal lean burn startup (higher rev) is completely normal for the DI motor.

What I do have is a slight balance issue on the passenger rear RS wheel -- need to get that fixed before too long. Nothing major, but it's there.

I dont have that noise. Do get a high rev on start up. No complaints with her at this point.

No problems at all with mine thus far other than all I want to do is get done with work every day and go for a drive - and that's MY problem, not the car's!

no whistle here. At idle, the valvetrain is a little noisy but no worries. Only issue on mine has been a faulty clip retaining an interior piece on the passenger side where windshield meets roof. Dealer ordering new clips.
