Ls7 carb style intake manifold for boost

My old fast 102 is for ls3 style heads. When i bought this motor he had a top inlet carb style lsx intake for it with the holes for injectors too and had the aeromotive fuel rails with it. A friend said they were ford style rails not really sure what that means. I planned on gettind id1000 and an aarons intake elbow for it. What are yalls opinions on this setup

I would ditch those rails. Seen too many engine fires from those crappy hold downs.

Yah, it isn't the rails, it is the brackets. Get new ones made out of some solid material.

Well... The general consensus is ditch the brackets !! Lol where to get good ones? Will the id1000 go on here? My concern with this is i heard the rear cylinders are starved with this setup on other brand manifolds. Not sure w/turbo application tho.

Any thoughts? I'd like to know if i need to ditch this and get a fast or keep it. Is the starvation a true prob on the back cylinders?

Generally people will get their injectors individually flow-tested and put the heavier ones on the back. That should help, but if you do a good job with your intake piping, you shouldn't have a problem at all.

I went with a Victor Jr. setup. If you look at the carb opening on the Victor, you can see how the runners come up more for what I believe is better air distribution. I have also heard about inconsistent airflow to cylinders though, so seeing the responses will help alot. But if you get a chance, look at the Edelbrock on the inside and you'll see what I'm talking about.
