Id say get the RS and be done with it. Buying them second hand requires removing the front fascia, taking a chance of scratching it, dropping it, having something fall on it, or any array of things that can happen. Since youre worried about a warranty, I can tell that youre not going to modify the engine, so just suck it up and get it and be done. Ill guarantee that youre not going to find a dealer that will let you out below sticker price on a 1LE. They are just barely hitting the dealers. I get GM pricing, and when I bought my SS, (Back in '10) they had a mark up on the car, and they said they were doing me a favor by letting me pay sticker. I wouldnt count on any favors from the dealership.

Well Fellas it looks like the RS is the way to go, have to push back the pick up date by 30 days to save more $$$ but rather be happy than to be kickin my self later

Hope so I just saw you post how there not even budging on price...you have any luck with Tru car pricing they guarantee the price quote they give, has dealers name, line item configuration...

No, Ive never used one of their quotes. Chevy has done this twice to me though. When the Cobalt SS' first came out, I went down to get one. Got all the way into finance and they told me they would not honor my GM pricing since the car is so new. I said this is a GM incentive, not yours. He said they dont have to honor it. I wrote GM that night, and they wrote me back the next day saying high volume dealers have the option to say no to the GM family plan. Then like I said, it happened again with my Camaro. They had it marked up $2200, and I told them they were off their rocker if they thought I was going to pay over sticker price when I should be paying under. Then after 5 or so "let me talk to my manager" moves, they gave me a "best price" of sticker. Bunch of crooks, but I wanted the car, and thats what they banked on.

Im not sure if they will honor it, since they dont have honor GMs own pricing. I dont see anywhere where it says 1LE option though. I only see valid on any 1SS in stock. If you were to take that in, they might say this excludes the 1LE package.

Good info, if they pull some mess like that ill walk, I have a 2012 Camaro, yes I want a 2013 1LE\SS\RS, but im not going to let you walk all over me...

did you try going to a dealer that did less Volume, I have no problem going hundreds of miles for a deal.

Yeah when i didnt have a Camaro, the dealer had that on thier side but now I have one

No Rush, No pressure, and they way they RAPED me on my 2012, jus cause i salavated over getting one....tables are turned now
