Wife gave me the green light but can't pull the trigger.
Well, wife said just go ahead and do the TVS2300 supercharger. Now that she gave me the okay to go ahead with it I am having trouble making the call to set it up.
I have put a fair amount of coin into the car already, which we all know if I had to sell today,I would lose in the end. Adding the supercharger would be an even bigger loss if something came up forcing a sale. On the other hand,I did get the okay and after the Maggie is installed it would be one sic ride .I just can't decide. but:(

You do mods for yourself, not for resale. Mods typically detract from the value of a car. The more bolt-ons someone has on a car, the less-likely I am to buy it. I don't many people that would buy a car with a lot of mods, b/c it's hard to verify the quality of the install/parts, and more importantly, it likely means the car has been rode hard.

Good you see that, cars are not an investment other then personal. If you have no plans to sell then who cares what the value is? It's all about you!

Its a car. Monitarily, you will never get back what you put into it. Your pay-back will only come from enjoying the car and the mods you add to it. GO FOR IT.

LOL ... I hate when that happens ... You spend weeks or even months hinting around about spending more money. The wife finally says yes, with that "use your best judgment" thing ... Then it's damn if you do and damn if you don't ... Because you know for sure there is going to be a big guilt trip if you screw up ...

I did it and couldn't be happier with my decision.. I have over 42,000 miles on my Camaro (just over 1 year old) and it still puts a smile on my face every time I drive it..
DO IT !! |
